USE THE MACD METHOD

OPERATIONS vs PROJECTS

Most people might say is there really a difference? The answer is YES and there is a really quick and easy way to tell!  Projects ALWAYS have a defined end.  There are a few ways that the “end” of a project can come about but that’s for another post.

PROJECT

IT MUST UTILIZE AT LEAST ONE

Taking something from its current state to a desired future state is all you need to have a project.  You do this by implementing one or more of the MACD elements in your project planning.

MOVING

Are you moving elements that will make a significant difference to the product/user experience?

ADDING

Are you adding new features or functionality?

CHANGING

Are you changing items or experiences that will have an impact on the product?

DELETING

Will you be deleting anything?
