Talk about some spoiled dogs!  When we got our new puppy we wanted to start her off right and also feed her enough to make her the beast she is meant to be.  You can tell by the size of her paws that she’s gonna be huge!

We grabbed a bag of fresh food at the pet store our first time out and she ate it within a week.  At $30+ a pop that just wasn’t an option for the long term.

I started with some quick Google searches and came up with this recipie.

My Thoughts….

All in all, this went pretty well for the first try.  This made 2-1 week supplies about 5lbs each.  I used our food saver to seal and freeze the bags.

Next time I’ll be trying more diverse ingredients and will use a food processor to shred the carrots since one was thrown up and not digested.
