Planning 2019
Time for planning 2019! For the past few years I’ve been experimenting with the best way to prep and plan for the upcoming year. I like to make sure that I have some goals in place and that I am working toward them every month.
In 2018 I found Mel Robbins. She is exactly the type of coach that works for me. No nonsense and blunt. I know a lot of people like it to feel warm and snuggly but I need a kick in the butt to keep me motivated. Her book the 5 second rule changed my life outlook. Kick Ass with Mel Robbins was even better for motivating me to make the changes I’ve needed to make for years. Her mindset reset challenge was a great way to look at goal setting for 2019. I’ve linked to the challenge and an overview video below.
Workbook for Planning 2019
Lisa Jacobs has also been a motivator for the past three years. Ever since I’ve been focusing on turning my creativity into a career. I did receive an email from her saying that she has taken a full time position and will be transitioning away from her business ventures to focus on this new opportunity. The good news is that the digital version of Your Best Year is now free on her website. I couldn’t find a video from her directly so I linked a review video from another YouTuber. She explains how the workbook is used. It really has been a life changer and reminds us to look back on the previous year to see how far we’ve come. Then you can focus on launching into your goals for the new year.
Choose your Words
Last but not least I have been focusing on choosing 1-3 words for the upcoming year. I always reference back to them since they are ares that I want to grow in. Susannah Conway has a mini course that will help you choose the words best for you. Again, I couldn’t find a video from her but a YouTuber I love Victoria from FemmeHead made a video on her guiding words for 2019 and thought she would be the perfect inspiration if you were having trouble.
Here are some videos that will inspire and give you some ideas for your 2019 planning.
