CLIENT

Basketball camp located in Upstate New York.

SCOPE

Create a new site that will continue to grow as the company establishes itself and expands their services and grows their marketing efforts.

PROCESS

Research

Titan Athletes, LLC focuses on individual and group basketball training as well as hosting camps. Competitors offer similar services.

Researched 3 main user personas to refer back to while making design decisions.  User Journeys were created focusing on establishing a feeling of trust.

Stakeholder meetings helped understanding the companies growth strategy and determine what to focus on for this initial minimal viable product and determining what to include in upcoming launches.

Branding

A logo was already created so all imagery and design choices were based on the existing color palette.  Since this is the first version of the website a Branding Style Guide was created to keep consistency as the brand grows.

Visual Design

This theme provided demo content allowing us to focus on the business message rather than creating the design from scratch.

Development

I customized the Alchemists theme using HTML, CSS & PHP to implement the necessary functions and sourced plugins that allows the growth the client will need to add e-commerce functionality.

LESSONS

This was a project that started out as a quick and easy project that quickly morphed into something much larger.  Luckily the stakeholder realized that MVP was essential to get version 1 live.

We discussed future launches and how we can utilize the site to assist marketing the business and growing brand awareness.
