BULLET JOURNAL SETUP
It’s that time again. Bullet Journal Set Up for the month of April 2018! I tried to get ahead of myself this month but of course like always life took over and I only finished everything (filming & editing included) yesterday.
THE TOOLS I USED
HOW I DID IT
I’m a bit of a perfectionist so I like to sketch out my ideas before I go in with ink. This also gives me a change to set up with basic framework for the spreads that are included everymonth.
I usually start this process early about two weeks before the end of the month just in case I have a spread I realize I need that wasn’t included the month before.
Once I know that I have everything arranged the way that will be the most productive I start outlining using my Black Pigma Micron 08.
I correct any lettering that was a little wonky when I planned in pencil and convert my sketches to full layouts. They are usually just slashes to block of sections in the sketch phase.
This is the most fun in my opinion. After all the hard work (well hardest in the process) this step is a piece of cake.
I use the TomBow Brush Pens for this. I have a chart that I go by that I created to make sure I was using all the colors that I ordered. There are two colors for each month one dark and one light . .
The Last step! This is where I have the most fun. I’ll fill in the dates and any little details that I want to add to spruce up my journal.
I’ll also fill any empty space with inspirational quotes that will keep me motivated and striving to complete my goals during the month.
